Join for a Nature in Mind Christmas Wreath Decorating Workshop.
Decorations will be foraged or handcrafted, and you’ll be provided with a base wreath to get you started. You’ll be invited to connect mindfully with things gathered from the wild and choose the styles and colours that are meaningful to you.
The workshop is about slowing down and enjoying the preparation for this often fast-paced celebration. History and folklore about the origins of wreath-making will be shared, and carefully considered, handcrafted decorations will be chosen to represent the important qualities of the season. Demonstrations and guidance throughout the workshop will be offered.
Non-alcoholic mulled wine and mince pies will be served during the break.
The workshop will be facilitated by Rachael, an artist and psychologist who invites mindful practice, and authentic creative exploration into her workshops. The workshop will also be facilitated by Ann, an artist, who will guide design and style of the wreaths.
