About this Event
If you've got the hang of some of the basic crochet stitches, and are looking to learn something new - this filet crochet workshop could be the PERFECT way to spend a few hours!
Filet crochet uses spaces and full blocks to create desgins, words and pictures in a crochet piece. We're making this one festive by using out new filet crochet skills to make a Christmas Present picture within a square!
You'll learn to read a filet crochet chart, and how exactly the blocks and space are made. We will practice with our Christmassy design in the workshop and before you know it you will be creating astounding designs in your crochet projects!
This workshop is most suitable for those who know the basics of crochet. If you know a DC and TC stitch, you're most welcome to join us for this workshop! (If you're not sure, please feel free to have a look at my other workshops, with are perfect for beginners!)
Crocheting is an incredibly mindful and relaxing craft and, when you become proficient with the stitches, you will find that you can bring your crocheting out anytime you have a spare 5 minutes to relax.
If you're keen to level up some crochet skills, this is a relaxed workshop with self care and fun at the heart. You'll get walked through every step, and come away with your new skills and a pattern for you to carry on crocheting at home.
All materials are provided for this workshop
