Wild Women - Women's Circle, Cacao & Ecstatic Dance *FREE EVENT*

There is a wildness within us that isn't about being reckless or untamed. It's the part of us that remembers.
The part that knows when to move and when to rest. When to speak and when to listen. The part that feels deeply, trusts instinct, laughs loudly, creates freely and doesn't need permission to take up space.
But modern life can pull us away from that part of ourselves. Responsibilities. Expectations. Roles. Routines. Looking after everyone else. The endless noise of everyday life. Wild Women is an evening to come back.
Back to the body.
Back to nature.
Back to connection.
Back to expression.
Back to the woman underneath all the roles we carry.
Funded through Moksha Holistic Therapies CIC's National Lottery Healing in Nature project, this special women's gathering brings together meditation, ceremonial cacao, connection, reflection and ecstatic dance.
A space to breathe, move, laugh, feel, connect and perhaps rediscover a little of your wildness.
There will be opportunities to share and connect with other women, but there is never any pressure to speak. You are equally welcome to listen, reflect and simply be present.
Beginning in stillness
Samantha Nobeebaccus will open our women's circle and guide us through a gentle meditation, giving us time to arrive fully in the space and leave some of the outside world behind. We'll then share ceremonial cacao together, taking a moment to connect with the heart and set an intention for the evening. From here we'll explore the theme of the Wild Woman. Not as an idea of who we should become, but as an invitation to notice the places where we already feel instinctive, creative, playful, powerful, connected and alive. There may be conversation. There may be laughter. There may be quiet moments. Whatever you arrive with is welcome.
From Heart to Body
Then we move. We're delighted to welcome Lynsey Croston from Ecstatic Dance Matlock, who will guide us through an extended ecstatic dance journey. There are no steps to learn. No choreography. No right or wrong way to move. And absolutely no need to consider yourself a dancer. Ecstatic dance is an opportunity to step outside our heads and allow the body to lead. The music builds, shifts and changes, and you're invited to respond however feels natural to you.
Returning to the circle
After the dance we'll gradually return to stillness and come back together as a circle. A chance to ground.
To breathe. To notice what has shifted. To honour ourselves and the women we've shared the space with.
