Wild Voice is a two-hour gathering in the beautiful womb space at Soul Cafe, to explore the simple joy and power of singing and sharing together.https://www.leonajohnson.life/store/p/wild-voice
We’ll gather in circle, settle into connection and use our voices in playful and nourishing ways. There’ll be simple songs that anyone can join in with, alongside moments of sounding, voice play, listening and sharing. We’ll explore songs inspired by the natural world and the elements, using our voices to connect with ourselves, each other and the wider web of life.
This isn’t about singing well or performing. It’s about letting the voice be heard, finding ease and confidence, listening deeply and discovering what happens when we make sound together. There is something wonderfully human about a group of people singing in a circle. It can be grounding, uplifting, moving and surprisingly joyful.
You don’t need any previous singing experience and there’s no expectation to sing on your own. Come as you are, whether you already love to sing or you’re someone who usually keeps your voice to yourself.
About Leona
Leona Johnson is a life coach, ecopsychology practitioner and ceremonial leader with over 25 years’ experience facilitating spaces for connection, growth and transformation. Her work brings together nature connection, embodied awareness, ceremony, relationship and everyday spirituality.
She is passionate about creating spaces where people can soften out of everyday busyness, reconnect with what matters and experience themselves as part of something bigger. Singing and the human voice have become a natural part of this work: simple, accessible ways of coming into presence, connection and joy.
Wild Voice is an invitation to come and play with that together.
