ABOUT THE MOVEMENT
Four years ago, Wild Faaji began as a community-led movement rooted in rhythm, culture, and the need for spaces where our people could move freely, connect deeply, and feel seen. Today, Wild Faaji is Australia’s leading Afro-youth culture platform, bridging music, fashion, and community across the diaspora.
We don't throw the same party with a different flyer we build a year-round journey across six distinct seasonal franchises:
- ☀️ OUTSIDE: Summer day parties, house parties & cookouts
- ⏳ MOMENTS: Throwback nostalgic ciphers & golden-era classics
- 👑 TIMELESS: Wild Faaji anniversary & birthday celebrations
- 🥁 SEASONS: Deep Afro House, Amapiano & Gqom 360° setups
- 🇳🇬 FREEDOM: Diaspora Independence celebrations & cultural history
- 🔥 DETTY: The unhinged homecoming finale bringing all the energy together
Detty December is where every sound, every city, and every element of the movement collide for one massive end-of-year celebration.
