About this Event
It’s time to celebrate two of our community members who support each other — and all of us.
Dante Dugan started running in 2023. Since then he’s gutted out a 100-miler at Antelope Canyon and placed 20th overall at both the Cocodona 250 and the Mammoth 200. But he doesn’t do it alone — and neither does Sam Cooper.
Sam has run close to twenty 100-mile races since 2023, and he’s not slowing down. He’s getting faster. He just set a personal best 100-mile time at the Javelina Jundred on Halloween.
Neither of them does this alone. They support each other through their adventures, and they’re tireless supporters of everyone else too — through racing, community service, and looking out for the health and happiness of the people around them.
Neither athlete needs pacers and crews to finish these efforts. But they understand that letting friends and family join in makes it an all-encompassing experience — one that brings joy and community to everyone there, and inspires anyone who hears about it.
And that can be you.
Join us for a potluck and some bread-breaking, then settle in while Dante and Sam talk about what these adventures mean to them and what this community has to offer.
