About this Event
How meditation can help us overcome overthinking and find inner peace
Do you ever find yourself going over the same situation again and again, worrying about what might happen, or replaying conversations long after they have finished?
Sometimes our biggest source of stress isn’t what is happening around us, but what is happening inside our own mind.
In this series of classes, we will explore how meditation and Buddhist wisdom can help us understand the habit of overthinking and learn to relate to our thoughts in a more peaceful and positive way. Rather than trying to control every thought or solve every problem, we can learn practical ways to let go of unhelpful thinking and develop a calmer, clearer mind.
Through guided meditations, practical teachings and contemplation, we will discover how genuine inner peace is something we can cultivate from within. As our mind becomes more peaceful, we become less overwhelmed by uncertainty, more resilient when things don’t go as planned, and better able to respond to life with wisdom and compassion.
