About this Event

The Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology (DICE) would like to invite you to the second East Kent Conservation Research Symposium (East Kent CoRS).

This one-day event will showcase conservation research and practice across East Kent, focusing on three key themes:

  • terrestrial and freshwater conservation
  • marine conservation
  • ecological and species restoration.

The event will bring together researchers, practitioners, managers, students, policymakers and the public to share knowledge, foster collaboration, and explore current challenges and opportunities for nature conservation across East Kent.

The event will include plenary talks, short presentations, and posters. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

The day is generously sponsored by Research England through the E3 Sharing Space for Nature programme.

If you would like to present a poster, please email [email protected].

A map of Canterbury Campus can be found here.

A map of parking on the University campus can be found here.

The day will be followed with a DICE evening talk, starting at 17:30. This will be open to delegates and other interested parties. Details of the speaker to follow. Previous DICE evening talks can be found on the DICE YouTube channel.
