When the Water Came: A Film Premiere & Evening of Impact

Join us in Utica for a special evening of storytelling, conversation, and connection benefiting the clean-water mission of With My Own Two Hands.

Hosted at the Impact X Marketing Studio inside the Landmark Building, the evening will feature two short films—including the premiere of When the Water Came, a short film exploring resilience, community, and the possibilities created when reliable clean water arrives.

Following the screenings, With My Own Two Hands founder Lindsay Plumier will join filmmakers Nathan Cronk & Brian Harvath for a live Q&A hosted by CNY Women's Network Founder Alex Canavan. Together, they’ll share more about the stories behind the films, the experience of creating them, the organization’s work in Kenya, and the lasting impact sustainable water projects can have for women, families, and entire communities.

The evening will conclude at Ocean Blue with heavy appetizers and a one-hour open bar, followed by a cash bar—an opportunity to enjoy the space, continue the conversation, and connect with others who believe in the mission.

ABOUT THE CAUSE

Clean water changes far more than what comes out of a tap. It gives women and girls back valuable time, strengthens health and education, and creates new possibilities for communities to build more secure futures.

Guests will have the opportunity to make a direct donation to With My Own Two Hands during the event. Every charitable contribution will help the organization continue partnering with communities in Kenya to create sustainable access to clean water.

TICKET & DONATION INFORMATION

Ticket revenue covers the food, open bar, and hospitality costs associated with the evening. Ticket purchases are separate from charitable donations. Guests wishing to contribute directly to With My Own Two Hands will be able to do so during the event.
