Prepare your neighborhood! You’ve prepared your household and street: Now what? Time to head for your nearest Neigborhood Emergency Hub, a place for neighbors to gather after a major disaster to exchange information, identify needs and hazards, and connect with each other to share skills and resources.Learn how your local Hub works and how you can be ready to jump in and support your neighbors. You’ll quickly grasp how everything works, and see how working together makes us all safer. (This is the same training we offered in June 2026.)
The Lakewood/Seward Park Emergency Hub is part of a growing network of volunteer-run Hubs across Seattle who support and prepare for disaster readiness and resilience for individuals and neighborhoods. We are neighbors helping neighbors, when it matters most. We meet the first Monday of every month, 7-8:30 p.m. at the Lakewood/Seward Park Community Club: all are welcome - no prior Hub experience needed!
Join our HUB email list to get useful tips and information on free training, events, and volunteer opportunities. Email [email protected] with the subject line ‘Join’ to sign up.
