About this Event
A screening for the People’s Emergency Briefing film, followed by a discussion of the
implications of climate breakdown on architecture and landscape architecture.
Hosted by Sheffield School of Architecture and Landscape, this screening is open to
all. It is aimed primarily at architecture and landscape professionals, as well as
community groups, charities, and individuals with a stake in landscapes, buildings, or
energy.
What implications does this have for academia and practice in the built and natural
environment sector?
Where do organisations and professional networks have influence that may currently
be underused?
The film will be followed by a discussion with invited guests from the professions, as
well as group discussions, particularly around working between the university and
practice. We hope to build new and better connections for future climate action.
Please join us beforehand (from 5pm) for snacks and afterwards (from around 7:15)
for drinks and further discussion.
