Love Poetry, Hate Racism ✊💚
A West London political poetry night bringing together words, creativity and community in the fight against racism.
Join us for an evening of political poetry and spoken word, featuring a selection of local performers sharing work on racism, injustice, resistance, solidarity and the politics shaping our communities.
The night will also include a mini creative workshop, giving everyone a chance to explore political themes through poetry and creative expression, whether you’re an experienced writer or picking up a pen for the first time.
This is more than a night of poetry. It’s an opportunity to come together, discuss the issues affecting us, build solidarity and turn culture into action.
The event will be a fundraiser for the local SUTR group, supporting its work in the community and helping build towards the upcoming Unity Demo in Hayes on 14 November.
Expect powerful performances, political discussion, creativity and a space to connect with others who believe that racism and division can be challenged through collective action.
