Join us for an evening filled with rhythm, music, and community. Bring your own djembe drum or hire one of ours - all skill levels are welcome!
Led by Seneke Sillah, a master drummer from The Gambia, you’ll be guided through traditional West African rhythms in a fun and accessible way. Learn call-and-response patterns and djembe accompaniments step by step with Seneke’s expert instruction. (You can read more about Seneke’s background here.)
We have a limited number of free tickets for local residents on low incomes. Contact the organiser for your PROMO code to access your free ticket.
The workshop takes place in Flukes - the stunning retro-inspired upstairs space at Big Penny. This is strictly an over 18s venue after 7pm so children cannot attend the drum circle.
