Join Strathmore Housing Action for a Wellington Bays Candidates' Forum on Strathmore Public Housing and other local issues.Strathmore Housing Action supports the delivery of the 49 public homes originally planned for Ngatiapa Street and wants to see the site used for its intended purpose: quality public housing that provides homes for families who need them. We also support Nuku Street, which is currently for sale on the private market, remaining public land and being used for public housing.
Representatives from the following political parties will be present:
• Green Party
• Labour Party
• National Party
• New Zealand First
• The Opportunities Party (TOP)
Please note ACT are unable to attend and send their apologies.
Come along to hear where candidates stand on housing and other local issues.
This is a family-friendly event and everyone is welcome.
The forum will be a moderated Q&A session, with the MC asking pre-prepared questions from Strathmore Housing Action.
Following the formal question and answer session, there will be time to meet and mingle with the candidates, have a chat, and ask your own questions directly in a more informal setting.
