Join Justice for Palestine members and allied organisations for this year’s “Hīkoi for Palestine”, as we stand united to mark three years of the genocidal intensification of the occupation’s decades-long ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people.We will mobilise on Parliament Lawn, then hīkoi to Te Ngākau/Civic Square. At Te Ngākau there will be action stations, a solidarity market, kai and music of liberation.

This hīkoi answers an international call to action, in which people around the globe are coming together to stand against genocide, reject the silence of our so-called leaders, and pushback on the rhetoric of “ceasefire” while our whānau in Palestine still live under the ever-expanding and violent zionist occupation.
This imperial violence against the Palestinian people, and across the region, has been enabled and supported by the current New Zealand Government; while the Labour Party remains coy about what concrete measures they would take to sanction the occupation and adhere to international law if elected in November.
On October 10 the people of Aotearoa will deliver a clear call to Chris Hipkins and the Labour Party to commit to sanctioning Israel in the first 100 days in their election manifesto. This November, we will unite and VOTE FOR SANCTIONS!! 🗳️✅
