It's time for the October Repair Cafe Wrecsam session in the Caia Park Partnership Hub!Come along on Saturday 10th October 11am-1pm (last entry 12.30pm) to the Hub and get your broken items fixed for free (or a donation, if you wish)!
At the entrance door a Meet and Greet volunteer will give you a numbered card (so that you see your particular repairer in order of arrival) and then you'll queue at the Welcome Desk.
Our lovely Welcome Desk volunteers will help you fill in a repair form, you'll then wait in the seated 'Waiting Area' until a volunteer repairer is ready to look at your item.
You'll be taken through to the Repair Room by a Meet and Greet volunteer and then sit with the repairer while they try to fix your item.
If they can, they will.
If you need a particular part, they will ask you to get it and you can either return on the same day - if well before 12.30pm - or to the next repair session.
When finished you will be asked to return your repair form to the Welcome Desk to double check everything has been recorded correctly.
While you are at the Hub why not have a hot/cold drink and a biscuit/cake at our Cafe area (for free or for a donation, if you wish)?
If the Free Shop is open you are welcome to go in and browse and take any items you want for free; help stop items going to landfill, help save each other money, help make Wrecsam part of the Sharing Economy, Free Economy, Gift Economy, Circular Economy Revolution!
Wela chi Dydd Sadwrn!
