The only place to be on October 9th. BABY BRAVE are launching their debut album ‘Sugar To The Tongue’ - and throwing a massive hometown party to celebrate at The Rockin’ Chair, Wrexham on Friday 9th October.
And we’ve got an absolutely brilliant and eclectic lineup.
BABY BRAVE
Fronted by Emmi Manteau, with Steve Nicholls on guitar, Andrew Stokes on bass and Jason Williams on drums, Baby Brave mix infectious indie pop with disco, new wave and post-punk.
Their debut album, ‘Sugar To The Tongue’, has been three years in the making and has already picked up support from BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio Wales, Radio X, Rough Trade and KEXP.
They’ll be playing the album in its entirety.
GROOM THE GIANT
Wrexham/Llangollen's self-proclaimed actual wizards are bringing their gloriously heavy brand of grunge, stoner rock and psychedelia to the party.
They've already smashed FOCUS Wales, Llangollen Fringe and Bloodstock.
FLEECE
Another brilliant Wrexham outfit, Fleece bring their fresh yet retro sound to the Rockin' Chair.
Led by songwriter Jamie Hamlington, They've become a familiar face on the Wrexham music scene and have also appeared at FOCUS Wales.
ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE
Completing the bill are Roadside Assistance - one of Wrexham's fast emerging alternative rock bands.
They've been making plenty of noise around the local scene and bring their own energetic take on alternative rock to the night. They've shared bills around Wrexham throughout 2026, including appearances at ReVibed and Wrexfest.
