This week, we are meeting upstairs in the beautiful 2nd Floor Bar/Lounge at our regular time at 7:00 pm! This week we will be celebrating Halloween with optional costumes (strongly suggested) and trick or treat candy for the dancers!There is a short Beginner Swing Dance lesson from 7 to 7:30 pm and DJed music from 7:30 to 10:00 pm.
DJs this week are the most excellent Marissa Thorburn and newbie Imzak Kevin Khan Mohamed as co-DJs with line dances, snowballs and some Halloween Jams at the break.
DJs will mix the best of Swing, Old R&B and Soul, New Orleans Jazz, Jump Blues and Rock n' Roll in addition to scary Halloween tunes. Requests are accepted!
If you are interested in DJing or teaching in the future, come talk to Jason! There is a sign up sheet by the DJ booth.
Cost is $10, pay Jason upstairs.
Beforehand, you can enjoy the delicious menu with great pizzas and sandwiches!
Free parking in the two Contractor's lots after 5:00 pm on the corner of Howard and Wendell Streets (uphill of the CBH).
The other Contractor lots are located midway (by patio of CBH) and at the bottom of Wendell St.
