The Freewheelers typically meet at the Platzl gazebo at 6:30pm on Wednesday evenings from May until late October or early November. We split into groups based on ability and desired riding pace for a ~2 hour mountain bike ride on Kimberley's amazing trail system finishing with refreshments at a local establishment. Depending on numbers, there are usually four or more riding groups on Wednesday nights. Here is a guideline of what to expect from each group:
Super Social: A more low key ride, on easier trails at a very casual pace, generally sticking to green trails and some blues.
Semi-Social: Cover more KM, at a still social pace, slightly harder trails riding blues and if the group is okay maybe some blacks.
Extreme Social: Riding harder trails at a social pace! sticking to blues and mostly black trails.
Anti-Social: Smashing out the KMs on all types of trails from green to black at a not so social pace.
