About this Event
Join us on the 1st and 3rd Sundays for a contemplative journey through the sacred texts and wisdom traditions of the world. This Sunday we sit with the Bhagavad Gita.
Like the Spiritual Center as a whole, this is a space free of dogma and religious rigidity, where each person is trusted to find their own truth. This isn't an academic class; it's a time for contemplative practice and the integration of new meaning into our daily lives. Each gathering weaves together silence, meditation, readings, practices like lectio divina that deepen awareness and perception, self-reflection, and open, honest discussion. Questions are always welcome, and no background is needed.
Guided by Ian Mevorach, CSSC's founding director, who holds a Ph.D. in Theology and Ethics and has spent years facilitating interfaith dialogue and contemplative practice.
Sunday, November 1, 1:00 to 2:30 PM, Common Street Spiritual Center, 13 Common Street, Natick.
