Witches - history, mythology, and reclaiming your female power. 📚 ⛧⃝ 🧹Let’s be honest - witches have had a bad rep throughout history, haven’t they?
Witch trials, witch burning, Salem, inquisition, an old hag, sabbath… There has been a lot of negative perception of witches in our culture and our collective subconsciousness. But are witches really something bad? What if we explored the meaning and the symbolism behind the concept of a witch? What if we looked at it from a feminist perspective? What can we learn from witches? How can we apply their stories to our modern lives?
Way for Women Book Club invites you to join us for another meeting - this time the topic is: witches! 🔮🧙♀️
And the best part? You don’t necessarily need to read anything in advance. You can just come, have some coffee with us, listen and engage in conversations! ❤️
And if you do want to read something and share it with us - you can choose whichever book you’d like, whichever genre resonates with you - it can be a novel, a sociological book, a historical book, or whatever comes your way!
Come as you are. Listen, share, get curious, change your mind, discover a new book — or just enjoy the conversation.
No homework. No literary expertise. Just book worms, stories, and good conversations.
