About this Event
A waxing moon is a moon of building and becoming. So rather than waiting for the fullness to arrive, we begin now, while there's still room to shape what we want to grow into. Under the sound of pure quartz crystal singing bowls, we'll settle into the body, let the breath slow, and tune in to what we'd like to bring forward as the days grow short.
The moon governs our emotional body, the tides, and how water flows through our physical form. These subtle yet powerful forces help shape our seasons.
The Hunter's Moon peaks on October 25 (Alaska time) and rises in Taurus, the sign of the body, the senses, and all things steady and rooted. Traditionally, this is the moon that lit the way for the work of preparing for winter, a time to be purposeful about what we carry into the dark months and what we're ready to leave behind. With the Sun soon in Scorpio, there's a deeper current underneath, too: an invitation to look honestly at what truly nourishes us.
Join us for a turning of the seasons, shed what is no longer needed, and make way for new grounded presence.
Your sound bath experience is offered in a warm, comfortable room with an extra cushy yoga mat, bolster, blanket, and blocks provided for your support. Once settled, I gently walk you into a state of calm with guided words and healing quartz crystal singing bowl vibrations that allow you to drift into bliss.
Bring a water bottle and any additional supportive props you like. We delight in wearing cozy socks and eye masks. Noise reducing earplugs help soothe sensitive ears.
