Grab your broomstick (AKA paddle), your favorite witches hat or costume and join us for a wickedly fun afternoon on our rivers. We'll be paddling alongside the Funktoon as a live band guides us on our (non-)spooky journey on the Milwaukee River, Downtown Milwaukee.Bring your witchy spirit, decorate you and your kayak, canoe or paddleboard and get ready to make some wickedly good memories on our rivers.
*If launching your own watercraft, please use a public dock and meet us in the river at the end of our dock by 12:30pm or along the paddle route anytime. Everyone is welcome and the "launch your own" fee will be a donation to Milwaukee Riverkeeper. A list of public docks are on our blog.
*We do not want to separate a paddler who is renting from us and their partner who may be launching their own. In this case, please let us know after you make your reservation online that you will be launching with someone who will be launching their own and we will make a note and accommodations for them here, thanks!
*Rental fee - this event is a fundraiser for Milwaukee Riverkeeper. $20 of each rental will be donated back to Milwaukee Riverkeeper.
Timeline:
11-12pm:
Check-in and decoration set-up if needed. We'll have complimentary snacks and beverages.
12/NOON-1pm:
Paddle up to Lakefront Brewery
1pm-1:45/2pm:
Chill at Lakefront, grab a beverage, bathrooms, food truck available
2pm:
Funktoon and paddlers depart Lakefront Brewery
2pm-3pm:
Paddle back to MKC main location
3pm:
Arrive back to MKC main location @ Jerry's Docks. All rentals must return back and check in with us by 3pm, thanks!
Upon check-in:
Introduction, instruction, outfitting and brief paddle lesson
We'll be launching and returning to our main location at:
Milwaukee Kayak Company (located in Jerry's Docks)

We will paddle as a group along with the Funktoon and return back to our dock around 3pm.
Bringing your own snacks and small coolers are okay!
