Wauhatchie School at Reflection Riding offers nature-based education to learners ages 3-11 (preschool through 5th grade).
Forest preschool is play-based and child-led, nurturing independence, resilience, self-awareness, empathy, a love of learning, and a deep connection to nature.
In our forest K-5 programs, students engage in standards-aligned learning across in Math, Literacy, Social Studies, STEAM, and Art balanced with abundant opportunities for forest exploration. Through emergent, project-based learning and small class sizes, students participate in hands-on, collaborative experiences that honor each child’s curiosity, interests, and individual learning styles.
