Good morning everyone! 👋I have some good news and some bad news regarding the large waste removal event planned for the old tennis courts at Sheldon Country Park, Horse Shoe Lane entrance.
Unfortunately, the original date has had to be cancelled. However, we now have a new date: Sunday 1st November 2026. 📅
We’re hoping to see even more people come along that Sunday morning and make the event a success.
This is a great opportunity to show the council just how much this service is needed in Sheldon.
You can bring along large household items, including settees, for disposal.
Please spread the word and let’s get behind this! 💪
The more people who attend, the stronger the message we can send that Sheldon needs and deserves this service.
See you there! 🙌
