Yoyo, we'll be skipping the August meeting as I'll be out.For September 2026's full length novel, we have "East of Eden" by John Steinbeck. A family saga novel, Steinbeck seems to have considered it his magnum opus, saying "It has everything in it I have been able to learn about my craft or profession in all these years"; and "I think everything else I have written has been, in a sense, practice for this."
More importantly, someone during our last meeting said it's the best book ever.
