A new theatre performance after Tolstoy’s War and Peace, in dialogue with Piscator’s adaptation.About this Event
War and Peace. Places of War. is a new theatre performance that takes Tolstoy’s War and Peace apart and puts war-related elements back together through movement, ensemble narration, games, sports, objects, and fragments of characters. Moving between the individual and the epic, the performance traces how war shifts in shape and scale. It opens cracks in time and space where history and the present overlap.
