Roles:
Florence - strong bold female presenting lead role aged 30 - 45
Fassifern plus - male presenting aged 35 - 50 playing multiple male roles.
Dressers x 2 - male, female or non binary
The multimedia nature of the work requires physical confidence and musicality. As it’s a new work collaborative team dynamics are important.

Wallpaper Bandit is a new Tasmanian work written by Sue Hayes and inspired by the Life of Florence Broadhurst. This a professional production supported by Creative Australia, Arts Tasmania and Clarence City Council.
Florence Broadhurst (1899–1977) was a renowned Australian designer, entrepreneur, and artist known for her vibrant, large-scale, hand-screened wallpaper and textile designs. Born in rural Queensland, she led an unconventional life and was murdered in her studio in 1977, the case was never solved.
This production is a dynamic multimedia work combining text, projection, promenade theatre, movement, and music.
The creative team is seeking performers with a strong artistic practice and experience in text-based performance and/or music theatre.
