About this Event
ย This walk looks at the different ways that Christmas was celebrated in Islington during the Victorian period - whether it was a slice of the celebrated currant cake from Thomas's or dancing at Henry's Assembly Rooms, a Christmas lecture from Rev McGuire or a special lunch for the Boot Black Brigade.
There are some funny stories and some sad in this special walk for Christmas which starts and finishes at Angel Tube station.
