Our owner, Kyana, has been touched by Alzheimer's disease, with her grandmother, Leatrice. Leatrice was experiencing memory loss prior to undergoing a triple bypass surgery and general anesthesia before Alzheimer's dementia took over. Leatrice died in 2014 but benefitted from home care services and adult day care services as she aged in place.
