FIRST Indiana Robotics (FIN) is hosting Walk Like Woodie, a 5K Run-Walk fundraiser on Saturday, October 10, 2026 in Broad Ripple Park, Indianapolis. This event is in celebration of Dr. Woodie Flowers and the ethos he developed for FIRST Robotics.Walk Like Woodie is a family-friendly event that invites the community to engage and learn about FIRST Indiana Robotics and its mission through a fun and dynamic charity Run-Walk. The event will highlight Gracious Professionalism and share the legacy of Dr. Woodie Flowers. Local FIRST teams will lead interactive STEM activities during the event, as well as showcase their competition robots.
EVENT SCHEDULE
7:45am - Packet pick up
9:00am - Race starts (wave start)
9:30am - 11:00am - FIRST Robotics STEM activities and demos
