Walk Against Domestic Violence

Join A Safe Place for our Domestic Violence Awareness Month Community Walk Against Domestic Violence.

This family-friendly community event will bring together survivors, families, community members, faith-based organizations, and local leaders in support of those impacted by domestic violence.

We’ll begin the morning with breakfast, followed by a community walk against domestic violence and conversations with community and faith leaders about domestic abuse, awareness, and the importance of community support.

Our theme for this year’s event is Faith and Domestic Violence, highlighting the important role faith communities and community organizations can play in supporting survivors and families.

Families are encouraged to attend! Children’s activities will also be available, including popcorn, cotton candy, snow machines, and more.
