About this Event
A Christmas tradition: Vox Humana's performances of A Child's Christmas in Wales.
Join us for a Victoria holiday tradition: the reading of Dylan Thomas' famous and whimsical story, interlaced with beautiful settings of traditional Christmas carols, and a favourite or two for the audience to sing along. This year we welcome Steve Wadhams, veteran BBC broadcaster and CBC producer, as our narrator for this beloved story. Vox Humana, renowned for its fine a capella singing, consists of just over twenty voices, led by Artistic Director David Stratkauskas and Assistant Director Char Hodgkins.
There's no better way to get in the festive spirit than the reading of a good story and the sweet singing of a fine choir!
** This event will also take place on December 23rd at 5:30PM and 8PM at St. Mary's Church, 1973 Cultra Avenue, Saanichton. See separate listing to book.
