Voting Rights Restoration: Understanding the Work of the League of Women Voters
Join us for our October meeting as we welcome Julie Reese and Donna Reynolds of the League of Women Voters of Greater Birmingham (LWVGB).
Julie and Donna will present the basics of the League’s Voting Rights Restoration work, sharing information about voting rights restoration and the League’s efforts to support voter education and participation.
This informative presentation will help us better understand the voting rights restoration process and the work being done to ensure eligible citizens can participate in our democracy.

Julie Reese
President, League of Women Voters of Greater Birmingham
Julie Reese is the current President of the League of Women Voters of Greater Birmingham. She also serves as a board member of the League of Women Voters of Alabama – Education Fund and as Voter Services Chair for Alabama.
Donna Reynolds
Vice President, League of Women Voters of Greater Birmingham
Donna Reynolds is the current Vice President of the League of Women Voters of Greater Birmingham and will serve as President for 2027–2028. She also serves as 2nd Vice President for both the League of Women Voters of Alabama and the League of Women Voters of Alabama – Education Fund state boards.
