PETA and Pro Animal Future are working to ensure that voters say YES on Initiative 86, which would end the sale of cruelly produced foie gras in Washington, DC. If passed, this landmark measure would represent a major step forward for animals and send a strong message that cruelty to ducks and geese has no place in our community. We need a strong presence at polling locations across the city on Election Day. There are 75 polling stations in DC, and we are aiming to have volunteers at as many locations as possible throughout the busiest times of day. To accomplish this, we need all hands on deck & everyone who can participate to sign up for a shift to help us reach voters before they cast their ballots.
We will provide all demonstration materials and guidance. Your support will make a tremendous difference. The stronger our presence, the greater our chance of saving more lives by getting Initiative 86 passed.
