About this Event
EcoShip is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that collects shipping materials from Chicagoland communities and distributes them to businesses and individuals for reuse.
Join us at UChicago in Hyde Park (exact address will be sent out 24 hours before the event) and help us break down boxes and fill our truck. During move-in week, new students dispose of hundred of boxes. Our organization will collect gently used boxes and provide them to local businesses and artists for reuse. Two shifts are available: 9am-11am & 11am-1pm.
This volunteer opportunity is a good fit for anyone who is able-bodied as there is quite a bit of lifting and moving. Upon arrival, you will check in with our team leads to get you started. Volunteers must be 18+ for this event.

**We recommend bringing work gloves of some type. We will have a few extra pairs onsite.
