About this Event
Your Story Matters.
Voices of Birth: A Community Conversation for Women is an intimate community gathering created for women across generations to speak openly about pregnancy, birth, healthcare, and the experiences that shape how we understand maternal care.
Too many women have walked away from pregnancy and birth experiences feeling unheard, dismissed, unsupported, or unsure of the choices available to them.
This gathering creates space for those stories.
Together, we will talk about what it means to feel heard and supported throughout pregnancy and birth, explore different birth options, and share knowledge across generations in a welcoming and affirming environment.
Whether you have given birth, are preparing for pregnancy or birth, support women and families, or simply want to learn more, you are welcome here.
The event is designed to help community members better understand birth options—including hospital birth, birth center care, and home birth—and provide clear, accessible information to support informed decision-making.
Special Short Film Screening: Birth Rights
As part of the gathering, guests will view the short film Birth Rights, followed by guided reflection and community conversation.
The screening will serve as a starting point for deeper discussion about pregnancy, birth experiences, informed choice, maternal care, advocacy, and what it means for women to feel heard and supported within the healthcare system.
