About this Event
Different histories. Shared memories. One language – music.
Join us for a special evening of music as the Choir of the General Tadeusz Kościuszko Military University of Land Forces from Wrocław, Poland, brings its voices to the heart of Oxford.
This concert marks two important occasions: Remembrance Day in the United Kingdom and Poland's Independence Day.
Although these days have different histories and traditions, they share values of remembrance, freedom, peace and respect for those who came before us.
Through a rich and varied repertoire of songs from different continents, the choir will take us on a musical journey around the world, celebrating the power of music to bring people, cultures and generations together.
From moving and reflective pieces to uplifting melodies, the evening promises moments of reflection, friendship and shared joy.
Whether you have a connection to Poland, enjoy choral music, or simply wish to experience something special in Oxford, everyone is warmly welcome.
