Join us on September 20th from 1-3pm for Vital Sounds, an inclusive experience designed to use the power of music to raise our vibrations and find our people.What to Expect: A curated music selection that echoes the theme of “Uniqueness”. Selected Sounds will include Big Mama Thornton ‘Stronger than Dirt’ and followed by Alice Coltrane’s ‘A Monastic Trio’. Despite the confines of their times, these juggernauts have been a testament towards trailblazing through transgression and limitations to create. In true Communal Coffee fashion, a intentional selection of single origin coffee, in alignment with our theme will be available for purchase at affordable price points.
Meet Your Host/Curator: Originally from Southeast, D.C., Genevieve Martinez is a multidisciplinary artist with expertise in studio art and music. In their more recent years, they have be apart of various Off-Broadway productions and on tour with Dance Competitions as technical support. From Battery Dance Festival as a percussionist to featuring art in Soho Galleries, Genevieve is a testament of “Being Limitless”
