About this Event
How do personal experiences become wearable works of art? Agathe Saint Girons, Anneli Tammik, Lucie Houdková, Arouge, and Marty Ornish discuss their creative journeys in a conversation hosted by Lisa M. Berman, curator of Catalyst for Conversation.
From the first idea to the finished piece, each artist follows a different path. Visual Voices explores the experiences and intentions behind their work, and how these take shape through materials, techniques, and the relationship between jewelry and the body.
The discussion offers a closer look at pieces featured in the exhibition, including Lucie Houdková’s Deep Coral, Arouge’s 3-6-9, and Marty Ornish’s On the Fringe.
