Give your favourite clothes a second life!Join one of EIT’s fashion lecturers and students for a hands-on sashiko workshop and discover this beautiful Japanese stitching technique traditionally used to repair, reinforce, and extend the life of garments.
Bring along a piece of clothing that needs a little TLC and learn how to mend it using decorative stitching and fabric patches. You'll leave with practical repair skills and a renewed appreciation for creative textile reuse.
No sewing experience is needed, making this workshop perfect for beginners.
When: Wednesday 7 October, 6:30pm to 8:30pm

Cost: FREE. Registration is required as spaces are limited.
What to bring: A textile item that requires repair, we’ll provide everything else.
