FIAE 2026 — International Festival of Performing Arts brings artists from Puerto Rico, France, Spain, and beyond to A&H Museums of Maitland for a week of contemporary performance, immersive art, live music, film, and cultural encounters.
From October 12–18, 2026, audiences can experience an immersive installation, live musical activation, staged reading and conversation, workshops exploring the origins of cinema, and two major international performances:
Blanco Temblor — Teatro Público, Puerto Rico

A visually striking theatrical work exploring memory, identity, perception, and the ways we experience reality.
Right in the Eye — Alcoléa & cie, France
Sunday, October 18 at 7:00 PM
Georges Méliès’ fantastical silent films come alive with an original score performed live by three musicians in a cinematic concert experience for audiences of all ages.
The festival also includes INTERLUDE, an immersive installation presented throughout the week, a live musical activation, Viajeras, a staged reading followed by a conversation, and workshops connecting performance with the earliest experiments in cinema.
Presented by Open Scene, FIAE creates intimate encounters between Central Florida audiences and distinctive artistic voices from around the world.
