Step into Interlude, an immersive installation where textiles, color, organic forms, sound, and memory come together inside the historic Maitland Art Center.
Presented by State of the Art Collection, Interlude is created by Remedios, an artistic collaboration rooted in Panama and Colombia. Through layered fabrics, botanical imagery, texture, and suspended forms, the work creates a contemplative environment shaped by memory, grief, pause, and renewal.
On Wednesday, October 14, from 7:00–8:00 PM, the installation will be activated through a special Live Music Activation, presented in partnership with Musiva. The music adds another dimension to the work, transforming the installation into a multisensory encounter where image, sound, space, and audience meet.
Interlude will remain on view throughout VI FIAE 2026, October 12–18, at the Maitland Art Center.
