On Wednesday, December 16 from 6pm-7:30pm, I'll present a free event on my book Do What You Fear Most: The History of the Velvet Underground in Koret Auditorium in the basement of the Main branch of the San Francisco Public Library. Besides reading from and discussing the book, I'll show some film clips of the Velvet Underground, as well as play some of their rarest recordings. Signed copies of the book will be for sale at the event. Event info at https://sfpl.org/events/2026/12/16/presentation-velvet-underground. This event will not be on Zoom or recorded.
