The story swirls around Alexandra, an 80-year-old artist in a showdown with her family over where she'll spend her remaining years. Armed with wit, volcanic passion, and a barricaded Brooklyn brownstone, Alexandra faces off with her children who send in estranged son Chris as an unlikely mediator. What follows is a wickedly funny and deeply touching exploration of the fragility and ferocity of life.
