The Conversation Project

The Conversation Project, hosted by Razr Steele and Jafar Jaafar, is an interactive educational and community-building event centered on open, respectful dialogue within the LGBTQ+ community. Rather than traditional lectures or panels, each session features Conversation Mentors who share their lived experiences and help create a welcoming space for questions, connection, and meaningful exchange. No question is “wrong”—curiosity, learning, and understanding are encouraged.

Taking place over two days during Florida Leather Week, the event will feature four guided conversation sessions exploring topics such as LGBTQ+ history, relationships, leather culture, power exchange, BDSM and kink, and mentorship. Attendees will also have opportunities to connect with mentors and one another during social and networking periods with food and refreshments. The Conversation Project is a space to listen, learn, and build community—one conversation at a time.
