VCS Coffee Morning: Meet Haringey’s Cabinet Member for Communities and VCS Coordinator
Join us for a relaxed coffee morning with Haringey Council’s new Cabinet Member for Communities (Cllr Ata Berk Aksit), and new Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) Coordinator (Ella René).
Haringey Community Collaborative is pleased to invite voluntary and community sector (VCS) staff and volunteers to our Tottenham Town Hall office for an informal coffee morning of networking, conversation, and connection.
This is an opportunity to meet Cllr Ata Berk Aksit, Haringey’s new Cabinet Member for Communities, and Ella René, Haringey’s new VCS Coordinator, introduce them to your organisation and share what matters most to the communities you work with.
What to expect:
Drop in for a coffee, meet other people working and volunteering across Haringey, and have a conversation about:
Your organisation – tell Ata and Ella about your work, the communities you support and what you’re currently delivering.
Community priorities – share what you’re hearing from residents and what you think needs attention across Haringey.
Your work and ambitions – talk about what you’re working on, what’s going well and where you see opportunities.
Networking – connect with other VCS organisations, staff and volunteers from across the borough.
Capacity building support – the Haringey Community Collaborative team will also be there, and we’re always happy to discuss any support, advice or capacity-building needs you have.
This is intended to be a relaxed and informal coffee morning rather than a formal meeting or presentation. Come along, grab a tea / coffee and make the most of the opportunity to build relationships and have an open conversation.
