In this creative workshop, you will learn how to fold your puzzle purse before adorning it with messages or symbols of love with a beautiful array of decorative materials, from watercolour to metallic pens to bespoke collage materials, washi tapes and stickers!

The history of the Puzzle Purse:
Puzzle Purses have been used since the 18th Century as a way of exchanging romantic messages, but were so popular in the Victorian period that they are often referred to as 'Victorian Puzzle Purses'. To this day, Puzzle Purses still capture the imagination, providing endless ways in which to present tokens of love, private messages, or unexpected treats.
About Assemblage Collective:
Assemblage Collective is an arts collective based in London specialising in hands-on artistic workshops with an emphasis on papercrafting and creativity as a tool for bringing people together. Assemblage is in residence at the Foundling Museum and hosts a range of workshops across London, creating spaces to discover new creative skills, build networks, and make art in a supportive and friendly environment.
