About this Event
Join us for a cosy afternoon of poetry, music, games and community-building, all in support of a local charity making a difference for disadvantaged people in South London.
We hope that through creating a space of shared stories, joy and solidarity, we can reclaim the power of community towards making a tangible difference locally.
In pursuit of this goal, 100% of ticket sales for this event will be donated to Spires, a South London-based charity providing local support for those who are homeless or are at risk of becoming homeless.
On the day we’ll have an open mic (first come, first served sign-ups), so anyone with a poem, please come and share! We'll also have some phenomenal headline performances (TBA) to shake your soul, and games and competitions throughout the afternoon with some unreal prizes to be won (probably chocolates).
It’s gonna be wicked.
Date: Sunday 8th February 2026
Time: 2:30pm - 6:00pm
(Doors 2:30pm, show start 3:00pm)
Location: Prince of Peckham Pub, 1 Clayton Road, London SE15 5JA
Tickets for this event are £12, however I know all too well that budgets can be tight, so if that’s a tad steep but you’d still love to come, please don’t hesitate to drop me a dm on Instagram @kofi_achina and we’ll get you in, no questions asked.
It would be an outrageous understatement to say I’ve been excited to put this afternoon of collective action together and it would make my year to see as many friendly faces (familiar and new) as possible!
