Join Spare Ribs Club for an evening of creativity with Anna Dempsey, founder of The Grove, a creative writing company based in Southeast London.
This is a workshop designed to spark your creativity. Whether you're an experienced writer or just beginning to explore your creative voice, this session will provide prompts, exercises, and guidance to help you tap into your imagination.
Anna will lead you through engaging writing exercises in a supportive, feminist space.

About the facilitator: Anna Dempsey is a writer whose accolades include winning the Costa Short Story Award and being runner-up for the Bridport Novel Prize. Her work has appeared in Popshot, Litro, Dear Damsels, and other literary magazines. She holds an MA in Children's Literature and Creative Writing from Goldsmiths, University of London, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Creative Writing/Creative Grieving at Bath Spa University and the University of Bristol.
